Homemade Bath Gifts and Homemade Bath Care are Affordable Luxuries

Homemade bath gifts, including homemade bath products are a fun, affordable way to treat yourself to luxurious bath products at a fraction of the cost. Homemade bath care is just plain fun. There is no greater luxury than using these deliciously scented bath products and no greater satisfaction than knowing you made them yourself.

Better still, these homemade bath gifts can be made and sold in a home business. Try these recipes. Experiment with your own essential oils and scents. Then if the entrepreneurial spirit strikes, make pretty packaging and take these homemade bath gifts to your local farmer's market for a fun part-time income.

Bath Powder Ingredients

Bath powders are a delightful way of scenting your body after a bath or shower. I have two homemade bath gifts recipes here – an invigorating powder to get you going in the morning and a calming, soothing recipe to help you relax and get a great night's sleep. Both of these powders use essential oils for both emotional and physical healing.
Essential Oils not only smell great, but also provide physical and emotional healing.

Invigorating Morning Bath Powder

The rosemary essential oil will clear your mind, improve your memory and fill you with energy. Use this homemade bath care powder in the morning, after taking a bath or shower. You'll be pumped for the day. These homemade bath gifts are an excellent choice for the mom who is filling stressed out.
Allow the powder to settle and then spoon the mixture into a clean, dry container. Allow the powder to settle for two weeks before using.

Relaxing Nighttime Bath Powder

White plastic jars like these make the perfect containers for your homemade bath salts, lotions and massage oils..
Ylang ylang essential oil is good for releasing anger and helping you relax. This homemade bath care powder is great for those who like to take a bath before bedtime.

Place the rice flour, cornstarch and essential oil in a food processor and blend for one minute, allowing all the ingredients to blend thoroughly. Allow the powder to settle and then spoon the mixture into a clean, dry container. Allow the powder to settle for two weeks before using.

Massage Oil Recipes

Homemade bath gifts like these two homemade bath care recipes are good for relaxation and for easing aches and pains.

Sore Muscles Massage Oil

Sweet almond oil makes an excellent massage oil.
Use this wonderful oil on a loved one suffering from aches and pains from a hard day's work. Clary sage essential oil is not only good at easing pain, it also helps with insomnia and is uplifting. Be sure to avoid alcohol for an hour before and after using this massage oil.

Mix well. Let this oil sit for a few days to make certain the essential oil has been evenly distributed. Massage it onto sore muscles and enjoy!

Relaxing Massage Oil

This wonderful oil will leave you relaxed and smelling wonderful.

Mix well, and then let the oil sit for a few days to make certain the essential oil has been evenly distributed.
